Is the K &N that much of an improvement over the Honda OEM? The oil filter's fine how "weak" is the air filter?

After changing mine to a K&N, I was not impressed with the fit and as for performance no difference. I would say stick with the O.E.

My XX had the K&N in it when I bought it and on my tune-up and fluid change list was the air filter. I removed it, cleaned and reoiled it, but didn't feel comfortable about getting the seal to fit and do its job, since you need to get it exactly in the way it came out.
I replaced it with OEM, and like the idea of a fresh seal on reassembly of airbox, and seemed to fit better.
