Pfizer apparently was working on it as an appetite suppressant but has since released its rights to p-57, the main ingrediant, stating that not only was it not feasable to remove other aspects that would contribute to liver problems. The lab studies done on rats showed that it was effective when directly injected into the brains of rats but in real world human oral consumption(I just said oral consumption, LOL)the liver may break down the product at a rate that is prohibtive of gaining an effect.
Most of the hype has been perpetuated by spam ads and studies have shown that about half of the marketed products dont even contain the active ingredient.
