Full Version: 1997 BIRD Which reg/rec??
I have noticed a few different websites listing two different reg/rec for my year bird 1997. The current reg/rec on the bike only has one wiring harness. I would apreciate advise on the correct unit or part number if available? I also will be replacing the stator which has gone bad and the battery the main culprit for this problem. Is it a bad idea to upgrade the battery to a Yuasa YTX-14BS it has more cc amps and is only a little bit taller. Will the extra a.h. draw be an issue for the stock reg/rec and stator.
