I'm considering installing a Beltronics speed detector model XR (or model STi in North America).

Anyone have any tips on the best installation location for an 05 Blackbird? I'm considering installing it above the headlight behind the instrument panel. Although proveded it fits I could have an issue with the tint the silver tint on the bottom of screen (bike is black with silver trim). I will have to get the HARD warning light that ftis to your helmet.

Any assistance with the installation and/or information on success with this model would be greatly appreciated.

I had mine where you want to put it.....it does OK, but you have to velcro it, and the constant removal for security purposes starts to weaken the integrity of the case itself.
