Full Version: I need a rectifier!

I'm positive it's the rectifier and I did some searching but I just need to know where to get one an what kind.
I've got 12,000 miles, a new battery, a good stator and the 3p connector showed 3 olhms, so the alternator's good. This damn thing almost stranding me in Death Valley 3! fucking days ago!

I got my R1 RR from a local aftermarket bike shop for $65. Considerably less than the Honda dealer wanted for the XX unit. The link above has links that explain it all very well.

Read that post last week. Punched in E-bay there was only 1 R1 rectifier. I won Forgot price I think it was $20.50 should be here this week> Will let you know my results.

2002 models and later do not have this problem..or so I was told.

My 2001 has the new style regulator with extra large cooling fins also
