I already took out everything i could (shims and all) and i cleaned the caliper and piston before i push them back in.The pads may still be too thick...i'm going to try to make them a little bit thinner.
What about trying to take the top off the master cylinder - maybe there is no room for the fluid to go to when yo try and push the pads back in

, I had this years ago on my 78 F100 4WD truck - had a big arse "G" cramp on the caliper after unbolting it because I could not get the pads in

. I could get the pistons back but when I released the clamp they slowly moved back in, took the m/c cap off and fluid pissed everywhere but the pistons stayed back

. I actually just did my pads this arvo as the rears were down and starting to wear on the disc

, the fronts were only 1/2 gone but I got new EBC HH pads for the front ( already had them in ) and took the best of the fronts and put them in the rear to replace the stock Honda Nissin pads as I didn't want to have worn pads on the front and new on the rear and it saved me $ 56 . I am guessing that they are the original pads ( 39 000 km ), just in time as the weather is starting to warm up - tomorrow 10-29C

should be nice for the ride home to and from work
