I've had troubles staying with a low carb diet. So I thought the best way was to raise the metabolism and get some cardio into the daily routine.

So I went out and got one of these:

Adjustable suspension on the front forks, and on the seat tube. 24 gears. Of course, I've already got my Sigma Sport BC800 and my GPS attached.

I have a ~5 mile route into the office...put my work clothes in a backpack, and shower when I get in the office. The route offers a fair amount of uphill climbs on the way in, about a 30 minute ride. Riding home is cake, mostly downhill and hit 30 mph yesterday.

Haven't lost much weight this week but I can feel the burn in the legs.

Anyone else do this?

If you look really hard, you can see that there is a motor there, but unfortunately it's a single-pin crank!

I really get out of breath riding along, going "potato, potato, potato......."

Nice Ride!!!
Have you talked to RaceTech about fork springs and oil yet??
What weight springs did they recommend??? Do you need both compression and rebound valves???

How about a Power Commander? K&N? Pipes? Do you lube the chain with WD-40???

Seriously, A bicycle is a great idea if you are in a situation where you can ride to work. They are cheap to operate, (checked gas prices lately) and fun. When it comes to loosing weight, I prefer exercize to diets.

first thing i did was de-link the brakes, but I'm using dino oil on the chain as I've heard that synthetic will cause my butt to slip.
