I've got an '03 but like the older analog speedo waaay better. I was wondering if an '00 speedo (FI bike with analog speedo) might work? Or even one from a carb'd bike.....
I'm sure someone knows the answer....

I know you can put the newer style gauges on the older FI bikes with some wiring and a sensor swap. Don't see why you can't do it the other way. You'd want to get the gauges off of a 99 or newer injected bike though.
If you decide to go ahead with this, put up an offer to switch gauges with someone else. I'm sure there is a member with analog gauges more than willing to swap out.
