Anyone done this program? We got the Windsor Pilates DVD's last year, I tried the introductory DVD once, and even though I'd been wanting them for some time, never did it again. Thinking of giving it another go as it's no impact, and my joints are starting to ache again with the extra weight I'm piling on.

Plus........seems like whenever you see someone who does pilates/yoga.......they're a very "lean" muscular, rather than bulky. I believe they say something about it being from working your long muscles or something??? Right now........I'm kinda shaped like Jerome Bettis icon_twisted.gif

I did Pilates for a couple years with my late wife. Helped my dicky back immensely, and gave me much more flexibility and stamina.

Also developed quite a decent sixpack - the core excercises work the gut area bigtime.

Oh... and if you do it in classes, the wimmen look great!!! I was the only guy icon_cool.gif

Yeah........that's something I've noticed about it too. Never had a 6 pak before.......and I'm a long way from there now brutha!! icon_redface.gif

That's what I though too at first. My wife and kids do the Pilates. I haven't got up the nerve yet.
