Does anyone know if it is possible to fit a latter model digital dash to a 98 bb, look the same shape externally, any pros/ cons. Ta

Yes you can.
Pros---------
Cons---------takes time you could be riding, and looks like ass.
You need to change, I believe, the water temp sensor. Those that have done it should chime in. Its quite doable.
