Does anybody know what the cross over, or part number is for an after market oil filter for the bird?
The Honda filters are like 11 - 12 bucks. I would like to go into a K-Mart or Wal Mart and just pick one up cheaper.

I think that the last time I bought a case of 10 Honda filters, they were around $5.50 each. Since the XX and Goldwing 1500 use the same filters, I've always bought them by the case.

I have a 5 year warranty on my XX and I never want to argue with Honda over whether a Brand X oil filter caused an engine problem.

Don, I've been using ACDelco oil filters for the last year or so, and get them at about half the cost of the Honda filters.

I'll post the part # later today, when I'm back at home.
