I have a question for the crowd. I went to the suspension setup post by Andy Ibbott and understand it. The question is do you have to use the bottom of the yoke and the top of the stanchion or just two consistant points for reference? like the top of the front axle and a tape line on the cowling for the front and the top of the swing arm and a tape line on the rear body work? If you measure these points shouldn't the real numbers be the same? Just curious because I may need to go get a longer tape My front stock numbers were 20 mm without rider and 35mm with rider the rear was better at 10mm W/O rider and 30mm with, is this typical of a stock setup with a 175 lb. rider? I have a new setup on the way but wanted to check what I have to compare.

I just use the distance the forks travel on the tubes...
