Bought several sets of tires towards the end of last summer. Is it best to store tires standing up or laying flat? Do I need to hang them on a rod if I dont plan on using them for several months?

bike tyres should not be stored for long periods, they have a sell by date like food.

I may just coat them in Armor All to keep them looking fresh.

Josh I store all my tires on a tire rack, in my trailer, standing up. I would guess laying them down would be the proper way to store them for long periods.

and just paint the grooves and letters white! :wink:

I stack mine up horizontally right next to my XX. But it wasn't my idea originally......

Joe, don't forget to leave a front stand between the stack of tires and the bike, that's key.

Standing up is the only way. If you store them stacked it'll be harder to set the bead.
