I'd get one of those fatty 220's for the rear!!!!!!!!!

What kind are you ordering??
N1K
45/46's

Now I just have to decide wether to put them on before or after I make a trip to St. Louis this weekend.

I'm not sure if I want to try that long of a trip with a plug in my tires....

Although I put 500 miles on the plugged tire this weekend with no prob's...

hmmmm

Run the plug.
SwampNut
What kind of plug?

I've got lots of experience with running plugged tires, and I'll tell you they are totally unpredictable. I've done 1k on a tar/string plug, and I also had one come out in four blocks and almost kill me. I only saved it thanks to light traffic and a perfectly-placed driveway for me to slide into. Had it been a curb, toast.

Patches are fine.

Tar/string plug...

lubed it up good with rubber cement and rammed it in.

Then I would recommend wearing all your gear at all times while riding on that tire, and carrying all your medical info where it can easily be found by the EMT's.

Put the new ones on so you can have fun and don't have to worry. That plug could get you killed...or worse inconvenience me.

If they don't come in in time...don't worry about it. Just ride on the plug. They are perfectly safe. There is nothing to worry about.

Kevlar socks.

I'll bet this fucker wished he'd worn calf-high kevlar socks when he kissed the asphalt on his Suzuki TL1000.... that's the tennis shoe he was wearing at the time:

What do you think this guy is thinking...besides...ow ow ow ow owow...dammit.
Perhaps he is reevaluating his choice in apparel...more likely he is thinking: "Dude, that sucks. I wish I had insurance. Fuck. Mom's gonna kill me."

Everytime I look at that I cant help but think...jacket, and boots and he wouldnt have a fucking scratch.

Note: one of these links should work. I should be switched over to my new provider tomorrow. SBC Yahoo sux ass.

I don't remember the numers but the plug is apparently okay as long as it is not too close to the walls of the tyre. My experience in UK is, reputable dealers will not fix the tyre with a plug when the location is near the edge. I think it was an inch.
