i have a 2000 XX with 10k (miles) and i am wanting to change the spark plugs.
i remember a while back that someone had post a document showing a "short cut" per the removal and replacement of the spark plugs.
this short cut did not involve the removal of the lower fairing, the oil cooler and the radiator. access was gained under the fuel tank??

could someone having said information, please advise.

thanks in advance

I did this procedure. It IS really tight. I had my 8 year old put the plugs back in for me :) .

Yes, well, if you use the specific tool suggestions I have on the main site in the FAQ...it's not so tight... Long extension, flex, short extension, socket. Easy and fast.

I did my 2000 w/ 30000 mi. right before Cody. Following WC site instructions and using the tool kit on the bike, it was a snap! 20-30 min. total time involved!

Well, that's over with. Oil change, plugs, filters. I put in the Iridium plugs, let's see if they last. Fuck it's humid here today. It's gotta be close to 40%. At least it's only around 90 degrees, but I'd rather have 105 and 15%. I need A/C in the garage.

It's at least 50% humidity here 30000 days a year.
