Do our XX brakes have squealy indicators built in like a car or do they just go from good to bad when you burnt up the last of your pads?
Sounds like some grinding going on up front when I pulled in the garage last night :?

No squealy indicators, grinding bad.
You can simply get down and look at them and see what's left.

i just changed my fronts at the beginning of the season- it was doing the same thing. it would also shimmy a little once i was almost to a stop. i started using the back to get me through, but the front still engages and i still got a squeak.
one side is probably gone. my clutch side pads were almost metal to metal.
i'm sure it is getting time to change them.
