Hi guys - I'm new to the XX OO. I have had my 2000 XX since 2000 and have about 26k great km on it. We just moved back to Calgary and I have looked high, low and everywhere else for my XX shop manual. Can't find it but want to adjust my chain (new in early 04). What is the slack to set it to (if I remember correctly it is about an inch or so) and what is the torque for the axle nut after adjustment is complete?
Appreciate the help. 8)

1 to 1.5 inch is fine. 69 foot-pounds.

Thanks for the help. After I posted the question I noticed that there is a sticker on the bike that gives the slack at 1.25 inches. I should have looked before posting as the sticke is pretty obvious  . And as luck would have it I found one more box that hadn't been opened after the move hiding away in a corner and voila there was the shop manual. I also just found my owner's manual. I generally don't leave the manual with the bike but after this maybe i should.
