I just bought a pyramid undertail and there weren't any instructions with it at all. I know you have to cut away at the existing fender but I thought it would have came with something. Maybe at least a generic fitting process or something.

What I was wondering is if anyone has already documented their install or could point me in a direction. Otherwise it looks like it'll be another balls to the wall install!

John (Jaws) has a nicely detailed set of instructions available that he provides with each undertail he sells.

You could either contact him, or I could probably come up with my set in the next day or two, and email them to you.

PM me if that's better for you (me emailing them, that is)

Well, I emailed Jaws on Monday, didn't hear anything back yet. I don't know if they would give me their instructions since I didn't buy it from them.

That nice, I just tried to eamil Carbotex to see if they had any instructions but apparently they're not in buisness anymore? The websight doesn't work and my email got returned.

Alright, JAWS just emailed me his detailed instructions. I'll keep the file in case anyone else needs them.

That's a good thing, cause I couldn't find mine anywhere.

I found the envelope, but prolly threw out the instructions when I was finished installing it.

mthelen,
What type pipes you running?
If your using High mount Migs, you'll need to notch out the undertail for clearence for the hanger brackets for the cans.
Keep this in mind prior to painting the undertail!
Good Luck!
