Last night I was cruising up the highway in sixth when someone wanted to pull into my lane. Instead of down-shifting I just rolled on the gas and my Bird responded with a slight studder before accellerating. I don't know when the plugs were changed last or the carbs cleaned...where should I start? :oops:

Try some seafoam. The plugs could probably use a change but I don't think they would cause the kind of hesitation you had. I could be wrong.

Mine was doing the same thing a few months ago. I had changed the plugs just a few months prior. With the help of a fellow board member we cleaned the carbs and made sure all vacuum lines were attached fine. Game on!!
