I did a search and did not find a thread where someone has used the Givi mount for the topbox and adapted it for use with the SWMotech detachable sideracks. Any help appreciated. (Sound of tin cup rattling)

If you mean the Givi Monorack combined with the SW side mountings, I don't think iis possible necause the Monorack ads width in the top mountings.
I think the only way to do it is to ad spacers in the lower (footpeg) bracket but when you put the cases the bike will be extra wide.

I used to have a Monorack, but know I have the SW top case rack.
If you want to see it installed , perhaps I can post you a picture later.

Why not use the SW-MOTECH Toprack?

Don't want to lose the hand rail.

You can retain the rear oem frankenstein bungee bolts on the SW-MOTECH top rack even though the instructions don't indicate so, there is enuf thread. Plus u retain the frankenstein bungee bolts about mid-seat giving much better tie down points for bungees/cargo nets/etc. vs the Givi Monorack. I've used both extensively and like the SW-MOTECH much better and SW looks way better.

I always thought the Monorack handrail work poorly as tiedown point plus it was so close to tail tupperware it was ez to scratch tupperware w bungees. My $.02...
