I bought mine from
http://revsperformance.com. I think I paid $89 plus shipping from Georgia. Call Russell at 1-800-787-2040. He had the XX rack in stock and there was no overseas shipping charge.
does the rentec require removing the grab rail?

You use the original grab rail with the Renntec. I'll try to borrow a digital camera and post some pics, but I think Northman and others have pics posted somewhere.

That would be great XXti. If there are pics somewhere already just let me know where. I thought all the old stuff had been KO'd.

Hope this helps..........
The rack uses the mounting holes for the grab rail, but uses longer bolts with spacers to mount, while keeping the grab rail in place.

I'd ordered and installed a Renntec rack from Revsperformance
and had my order the next day. The owner Russell is a great guy,
very nice to do business with. Unfortunately (at the time I ordered
from him) his website wasn't set up for on-line purchases, so you
must order by phone, but it was a painless experience and Russell
answers all your questions. My rack was installed on a Triumph Sprint ST
(my bike prior to the XX) and required removal of the grab rail. I can't
say if that's true for the XX. Revsperformance, however, gets an A+.
BTW, if you want to see pics of the rack installed on a particular bike,
contact Russell and he'll e-mail you professional grade photos of the
installed rack on your bike preference.
