I'm new to this board and was wondering for those of you who changed out your bar ends from the stockers, did you notice more vibration in the bars? Has anyone ever foamed inside the bar to further reduce the vibes? You know, Great Stuff or similar. I've heard about Bar Snakes for cruisers but it seems that foaming could do a lot. I work in the golf business here in humid Fl. and being summertime with the season all but coming to a complete halt, I seem to have a lot of extra time on my hands for tinkering. Thanks in advance

I had to remove the stock bar weight (the one inside the bar) when I installed my Throttlemeister, no noticable increase in vibes. This bike is so damn smooth I've never given any thought to attemting to dampen any vibes in the bars. Are you having a problem with this, or just bored?

Thanks for the reply. I have been thinkin about Throttlemeister for a while but for now I'm enjoying the throttle. Yeah, I'm a little bored and tend to tinker alot w/ everything. The reason for the question is simply because I've done a lot of vibration reduction in golf clubs which are no more than hollow steel tubes (similar to clip ons) and you would be amazed how much a little foam reduces vibes. I agree that the XX is smooth but could you imagine it even smoother? Might actually be a bad thing, could fall asleed.

Yes, expandable foam in a can.
