To anyone who has their rims powdercoated are they easier to clean and keep clean than the stock painted ones?

Anyone Have any tricks for cleaning and keeping their rims clean?

Get ahold of Don on that one. He's powdercoated his wheels the color of his bird.

I didn't do my rims, but I did do a bunch of other shit. Cleaning isn't any easier with powdercoating, the stuff is just waay tougher than paint.

Maintainance is similar, with the exception that you can blow it off a lot longer with powdercoating without any worries about damage to the finish.

I have mine powdercoated, I also had them clearcoated. Put good wax on them and I found them easier to clean, just wipe them off with a rag

I found that to be the key. My wheels are chromed, the wheels on my wife's bike are powder coated. Lots of wax means less work cleaning.

I have mine powdercoated. I use an all wheel cleaner, let it sit for a minute then spray it off. Done, shiny! I also had my lower fork legs done. Too slick.

My wheels are polished. I agree with the waxing. I wax my wheels after every wash whether I wax the rest of the bike or not.
