Took this picture as you can see I have pretty good tread for 6500 miles on the rear. I do a mix of spirited riding and a lot of slabbing to work 45 miles each way. Rear starting to flatten out a bit, but I am happy with tread wear after reading some of the stories of tires worn in less than 3000 miles.

Is that Armor-All on those??





















oh yeah.........looks cupped.

You should always Amour-all your tires... it keeps them looking good and the rubber soft. I also do my seat and sometimes my grips... they all look showrom condition.

BTW - Tire does looked cupped. Lastly, try some Del-Taco hot sauce to get that penny shiney too!

No, just washed the bike before putting her away to keep from rusting up like she has during winter :cry:

ran my last pair of roads 10k+.

replaced both at same time with SERIOUS flat spots in back AND front.... never seen a flat spot on the front before :lol: it was about 1 inch wide!

and i was wondering why the bike was handling a little funny!

tread was fine.

it was a 10k spurt of mucho commuting and little fun in the canyons....

I was 240 lbs when I was 16 years old :shock:

I am impressed with the wear on the Pilot roads and will most likely buy another set when they wear out this spring.

How is the grip in corners, dry or wet with the roads as compared to say the pilot sports or sportecs or dunlops?

Is the high speed straight line stability good as well?

Never noticed any problems in the corners. I have rode hom several times in the rain and they did great. Cant really compare them as I had them installed two days after bringing my XX home.

They handle triple speed limits just fine :wink:
