Here's the problem: Sometimes when I then start the engine, both the HISS and the PGM-FI lights come on and stay on for about a second, then both come off. Is this something I should worry about?
As said, the light doesn't blink and never stays on for a longer period. Any ideas?

You didn't say what year your bike is. if it's a 99/2000 model take a look here............

No, it's a 2001. And after the light goes off the engine seems to run normally. Could it be something due to cold weather?

Still no ideas?
Can anyone tell me if the FI light on their XX blinks and lights after they start the engine. Is this normal? THe light goes off after a second.
