Gonna get me some of this stuff and do my turn signals and my tail light.
Anyone tried this stuff yet? Looks easier than trying to mix tint in with regular clearcoat.

Guess I'll be the guinea pig on this.

I've got a can of that that Dean gave me.. I think he has used it and said he liked the results. I haven't tried it yet.

Now I use a tinted polyurethane that I can spray through my gun, but I've used that stuff alot in the past.
It definately works well......... just remember to apply it in very light coats.

I've got a can, tried it on a set of signals on a friends car works damn good. Here's a hit if you try it... it's VERY easy to make it run, use very light coats 4-5 coats usually works good doesn't look dark enough until u put it on.

Tried it first on some plastic and it worked a treat. Then hit the signal lenses, and had bad results.. I think it was the prep that stuffed me up.

If you are interested, there is a write up and pics at my home board

On the signal lenses, do you use it on the inside or out?
Keith
Definitely let us know how it works for you.

Nobody around here has this stuff, but if they can get VHT header paint they should be able to get this stuff. I'll try to order some this week and see how it does on all the turn signals and the rear tail light also.

Outside. The inside cut rough to dissipate the light.

I got mine from Dennis Kirk.

This place has it for $8.48:

I used that stuff on my Camaro it worked great but never tried it on my bike cause I figured my turn signals are small and I want them to seen as much as possible.
