Honda lists a special tool in the manual, for removing the locknut on the engine bolts.

At my dealer, the tool lists for ~$40.

Motion Pro has a tool for the XR, "oil filter spanner wrench". Tool # 08-0015.

It retails for ~$14.

Cool

I bought a Snap-On socket for adjustable Ford upper ball joints. It was about 1/16" too small on the ID, so I had a machine shop bore it out a bit.

Works great, too.

It's too bad that these tools and nuts aren't back cut. Would be nice, each one of the bolts was responsible for removing a little skin from my fingaz.

I know. I'll stop bitching.
