86gn Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 Who has changed the stock ones? What did you use? Quote
Mr.XX Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 I have the short stalk Lockhart Phillips carbon look they are easy to install and work fine ...I have the smoke lens I would get the amber or clear if I did it again  Quote
demon Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 I have the short stalk lockharts as well. Mine are aluminum finish with clear lenses. Looks sweet when you shorten up the rear fender. Quote
K-TOOL Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 http://mediaservice.photoisland.com/auctio...16853408086.jpg much better! 15 bucks from the local MC shop. Quote
Guest Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 I have the LP's also...fit perfectly in the grab hole thingies under the seat. Quote
TOXXIC Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 I did the same flush job with the short stalks, you can hardly see them! Quote
TOXXIC Posted November 5, 2003 Posted November 5, 2003 Another angle........ I need a new camera........... Quote
86gn Posted November 6, 2003 Author Posted November 6, 2003 Thanks for the ideas guys. I put a fender eliminator on and the stock signals look kinda big and goofy. Quote
Northman Posted November 6, 2003 Posted November 6, 2003 I have the same short-stalk LP's that most of the guys have already mentioned, with carbon stems, and smoked lenses. Here they are mounted to my Pyramid undertail. They work well, are plenty bright enough, and the bulbs are the same wattage as the stockers (26W), so you don't need to worry about flash rates, etc. I just cut the pigtails off the stock signals, and soldered them to the LP signals, for a direct plug-in. blackhawkxx Posted November 6, 2003 Posted November 6, 2003 I have the LP's also. They looked bright in the garage when I installed them but follow in back of some one else riding it and they were NOT very bright. Quote
matey_peeps Posted November 6, 2003 Posted November 6, 2003 i put on the LP flushmount V (i think). look sharp, but in the daylight they're all but invisible. Quote
