  1. Jim (the dyno guy) had said he thought #2 cylinder was leaning out due to an exhaust leak. I have fixed the leak. The add on pitot tube assy has a fitting for different air bleed jets. He told me to put in a 230 jet in the hole. It is now plugged. He said that would straighten out the af ratio at midrange rpm. I didn't want to put it in yet as it seems the bike runs quite warm as it is. It overheated once already on my ride last Sunday and that's with the fan switch bypassed to a manual switch I installed. I'll mess with it a little more but this thing does run good and I don't want to ruin it you know?
  2. Sounds and looks good. Is max boost during run 1 Bar or 10 PSI? it is difficult to see on the video. I guess it is 10 PSI. Clean gauge setup Is the AFR meter out for lunch :icon_think: Yeah the af meter needs to be sent back. It was at 10lbs boost.
  3. Don't get me wrong this thing hauls ass. The reason I thought of the higher numbers is because that's what Hank's bike put out. I was informed several times that his is a different turbo and set up. Looks like today is going to be scorcher so no video. Sunday I am going to make several short videos with my go-pro and post them. Stay tuned! (pun intended)
  4. eliXXer, Like Magoo said I usually type before I think. Yes I have an intercooler. I was expecting in the 250 260 hp range but it is what it is. Yes I am happy, no I don't have any bitterness towards Hank,Graham or anyone else.
  5. Well I have about 5k in the turbo kit and parts and I paid the turbo tuner $1825 to dial it in. Now I just got the bike back late yesterday and drove it home 115 miles. The power and boost is truly incredible. One of the reasons I couldn't get it right(besides the crank was off two teeth) was the manufacturing flaw in the pitot tube. He had to install a separate pitot tube set up in line with the charge tube. The same set up he uses on the snowmobiles. Yes I love it and the power is great but all of the heart aches and trouble I have dealt with since January took it's toll on me. Sorry I sound a little bitter but all is well now.
  6. Well I guess i'm a little peeved at the numbers but it just seems like an awful lot of money was spent is all.
  7. My bike is finally done and all I can say is this is by far the worst decision I ever made. $7000 later and only 217 hp. live and learn I guess.
  8. Thank you Hank for posting and all of your help. Smaller jets= Fun Fun Fun. I do apologize for not keeping up posts but I want to report good not bad like most news stations. I haven't put any serious riding time in yet. I'm off Friday through Monday and the weather is supposed to be great so I will be riding and video recording this weekend. Why is mine so different than Hanks? I don't know, maybe the combination of everything is just that......... different. The bike is so much more powerful than stock, ( I have an identical BB at my shop that I compared it with) I'm tellin you if I kept that 16 tooth front sprocket I'd have road rash on the back of my helmet. All in all a great experience and it's just starting. I will post vids and pictures over the weekend at some point or I'll cut the ride short to change my shorts.. I'm VERY HAPPY!!!! To be continued.......................
  9. I think she is running rich but it's my last hurdle. I rode the bike today and if I roll on the throttle she pulls like a mother but when I shift into the next gear I have to ease it back on. I can't nail it at all. This much closer though! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTGetkdrNuI...eature=youtu.be
  10. I admit I am a hot head when things don't go right the first time. NOT a blown head gasket. Hell I don't even have the intercooler yet. I either have crap in the carbs or to much fuel pressure (hence the white smoke). I shouldn't have posted what I did while I was still mad. I'm sorry guys. Ok back to the task at hand. I also noticed that while running the carb slides were like mexican jumping beans moving ever so slightly with a nervous twitch. I also noticed number 2 carb slide would not go up when raising the rpm's. I took the rack off and said carb diaphragm was folded over a little bit in the groove and also caused a vacuum leak I'm sure. The bowls and floats and needle and seats are clean with no visual problems. I'll keep pressing on and update with nice things to say next time.....I hope!
  11. Head gasket is toast. Smokes like a mother fucker. Returning everything back to stock. Turbo kit for sale $1000
