  1. Since I work for a dealership near a college town, I have seen several parts from them. All of the parts are shipped without any paint on them and you will have to prepare them for painting. You will need to shave for the piece to fit your bike. I have not seen one yet that did not have to be shaved. According to the company, if you shave the piece in any manner you will not be able to return it. While they have a lot of business, it seems strange to me for the piece to not fit without shaving it. Also, some of the pieces cannot be shaved at all. I spoke to a student who had to ship a part back 7 times before they sent him the right part and he was having to pay for the shipping both ways.

Since I would be paying for the shipping, it would be the cheapest and best I could find!

As a fellow BB owner and working at a Honda shop, I can get the Avon Storm tyres for: 103.40 + shipping Frt & 140.34 + shipping RR. What do you think? Would you like this price?
  4. 17/45 chain 530 x 112 These are the numbers for years 2000 - 2003. There is a sprocket/chain kit available from Honda (Honda Code # 6112049 only available from Davenport, IA warehouse) priced at $339.97 retail. However, a Regina sprocket/chain kit is available for $218.95 retail.
  5. I do not have the CAD of an engine. However, I work for a Honda dealer and have access to the catalog software with the engine diagrams. I have other information in manuals and can request further information directly from Honda. What do you actually need?
  6. I work for a Honda dealer and have access to the correct fiche. Let me know if I can help.
  7. Yes, they both are. I have a Parts Unlimited catalog which shows them both in it. It is in a .pdf format if you wanted to look at at.
  8. You may not want to hear this... Most motorcycle companies do not want to fix rims or plug tire, because of the liability problem. In today's society, too many people are willing to sue at the "drop of a hat." Because of this, most motorcycle companies will not repair a bent rim or plug a tire. The other thing to consider is how fast are you going to be traveling on this rim after you have it repaired? Is it worth injuring yourself or worse killing yourself just to save a few dollars? Most rims must travel in a tolerance zone when spinning. If your rim is off by .25, then repairing it may not be safe. You may end up spending the money and then still have to replace the rim. Verify with the company if they have a guarantee if the rim still does not seem to ride properly for you to get your money back. If they do not, then it might not be a good idea to have it repaired.
  9. Not without a major rework.
