I got this bike years ago as a police auction bike through eBay. Went through everything from front to back. This bike spent most of its life commuting on I-405 in Southern California from San Clemente to Irvine, with one notable stint in the bay area and a epic ride back down to SoCal.
No accidents. A recent tip over in the garage scratched the mirror cover and right fairing. Some sun fading on the cowl and rail. All plastics are Honda.
Just took here out to get a Texas inspection. Runs like a watch. Last valve check revealed zero needed adjustments. The motor is settled in and will likely outlast all of us.
No leaks, some oil misting from the alternator cable where it exits the motor. It has some ‘patina’ from its age, but nothing dramatic.
Get on and ride anywhere. Will throw in any spares I can dig out of boxes and will coordinate shipping and inspection if you’re not local to San Antonio, Texas. Hate to sell her, but it’s time. I’ve barely put 200 miles in it in the last 3 years.
