dammit. its gone. i was checking into airline tickets and stuff, hadn't actually bought them. he emailed me last night it was gone. yep, ME 04. where in sd are you?

i'm talking to the guy now. is anyone reasonably close to this. i have pics coming, but thats just not in person, ya know. if i go ahead, i'll probably fly n ride, which means it'll be a month or so before i go pick it up.

so you felt pretty sure it was ridable, just cosmetic damages? i think i could live with the cosmetic stuff fine, if its not unsafe to ride. as long as forks and stuff are good, a rim should be an easy swap when i find one right? thanks, nick

so did you go see it? i am thinking hard about making this my first bird. but its about 7 hours too far to just go take a quick look, its either go and pick it up, or don't bother going at all.

yeah, i know that. but shes convinced its a "crotch rocket", and i haven't seen one local enough to get her to sit on it, because we live in BFE. if it was her choice, we get a hardly, but i have made it clear that i'd rather never get another bike at all than get one of them.

and i will be in houston in a week too.someone needs to convince my wife she would be comfy on this.

so is the other craigslist bike in tucson the one the guy flaked out on? he sent me pics and a video, and i was interested, but i'm a little concerned now. i would try to go look at it but its too far away.

anyone very close to this? i might be interested, but craigslist makes me a little nervous. if it happened to be a member, or someone one of you guys knows, speak up please, i'd feel a lot better that this wasn't a scam then. i'm probably being paranoid, but i'd rather be paranoid than taken. thanks in advance, nick

0.42 mpg? that could be any of a long list of things. i doubt any of them have to do with a fuel additive though. but even if it was, i suspect that the caps cost more than that fuel savings anyway.
