  1. Thanks for the bump I think the bike is sold, but won't know for sure until tomorrow. If this deal falls through its going into storage until spring.
  2. When I was looking I mostly found bikes that were either: Bastardized (neon lights and stretched swingarms) or wrecked junk Or Very nice, but bone stock, and expensive (some guys are asking 5K for clean stock ones) This bike was such a nice find because it is really clean, but had the few mods I would actually want.. suspension being the biggest of them. The pipe and PC are nice too.. this bike just NEEDS a pipe. I see you can still get this shock on ebay for about 1900. The mods would cost 70% of the price I'm asking. At this point, I figure I'll have it until spring, and thats fine. It can sit in my heated shop where I can start it up and enjoy the music once a month.
  3. It is a very cool bike, but I just have too many. No longer looking for a 690 or any other trades... Price drop to $3800
  4. I just bought this really, really nice TL1000R. I've run a couple tanks through it, and had a ball, but I can't stop thinking about a 690 enduro. I can't have both. Located in Watertown, SD It's a 99 TL1000R in about 8.5 or 9/10 condition. Nearly mint with just a couple minor scuffs on the right fairing. It doesn't look like its ever been dropped. Its a V-twin superbike! 25xxx miles Ohlins fully adjustable shock. This is a big deal - Stock rotary dampers sucked and this shock runs north of $1500. Reworked forks (according to the PO - I have no proof) Rubber is good Chain and sprockets look pretty good D&D slip-ons (stock pipes included) Power Commander The bike runs great and sounds incredible. Nothing beats the sound of a sporty twin. Lets start at $4000. About the only thing I'd trade for is a 690 Enduro 605-881-8092 With the cowling Small scuffs: Good rubber Start up clip. Wish I had something better than a phone for this.
  5. I got lazy and somewhat injured and gained about 20 lbs last year. Weighed in after Christmas and hit an all time high score of 216. Fak... I should weigh 190-195. I also am dealing with chronic non-allergic rhinitis and a nasty condition called recurrent corneal erosions. I've had some nagging tendonitis too. These are all inflammatory conditions to some degree. I'm thinking there is some underlying common theme here, and likely its diet related. All this motivated me to make a drastic diet change and get my ass back into shape. For about 14 days now - no bread, no processed sugars, no dairy. Very little wheat at all. 60 minute workouts 6 days a week. I'm burned out on P90X so I'm mixing a little of that with some of my wife's Jillian DVDs, treadmill, and dumbells. I'm down nearly 8 lbs already. I've added a crap load of sinus and eye health supplements too. One of the major components is an anti-inflammatory Omega-3 + vitamin D. I've been on that for over 30 days and it seems to have really helped my tendonitis and also my typical winter dry skin.
  6. Thats a nice looking bird at a good price. Are you looking for any trades or partial trades? Some possible trade fodder: 2009 Piaggio BV250 tourer (scooter), 1992 TDM850, and a 07 XT225. Savage .204 varmint rifle..
  7. I was talking to my brother in law who possesses the reloading equipment of which I own a share, and he didn't think loading .40 on it was a good plan, so with that, I'm out.. Next!
  8. We told you. Yeah I know, and I should have listened! The ZX-14R worked great, but I just never liked it like I did the XX.. I've bought and sold a lot of bikes over the years but the XX is the only one I really regret selling. Live and learn! I'd also like to know about the fees and possible titling issues. If I were to get it cheap enough, I really wouldn't care if the title said salvage etc.
  9. I'll take it. I don't currently reload .40 but I should. PM me a paypal address?
  10. Doesn't look crashed, but was stolen. Actually it looks really good. If I was closer I would definitely throw a 2k bid on it. I miss my bird and wish I'd have never sold it. http://www.crashedtoys.com/Inventory.aspx?...254a6ecc2f1b4c0
  11. Did anyone read the Motorcyclist comparison? 2013 MSRP has gone up! Bump for a lower price.
  12. I came theeeees close to trading it.. twice.. but its still on the market.
  13. Awesome! You need a riding partner
