I've installed Dual Star grip heaters under BMW sport grips on three of my bikes. Used hairspray each time and have never had a grip move once they dry. Smells much nicer than other adhesives!

I have a 34" inseam and the blocks made a difference for me. I'm more of a sport-tourer and I haven't dragged the pegs yet. No regrets whatsoever.

I'm looking for a gearshift lever for my recently acquired 2001 XX. The original one did not like the idea of being re-positioned and I snapped the head off the bolt. I figure I'll need to cut it off... I don't see any way I can extract the small piece of bolt that is cross threaded in there. If you have one, please let me know how much you'd like for it. Thanks!

Thanks. Where about are you located? I'm pretty well mechanically and electrically inclined and do most of my own maintenance, but it wouldn't hurt to know someone local who knows the bird! My VFR has a new owner as of yesterday afternoon. It will be missed but I'm looking forward to my new XX...

After much debate I've finally decided that I'm interested in selling my VFR and finding a 2001 or newer Blackbird. It must be clean and well kept, with reasonably low miles. My top pick would be the red 2001 model, but if you have a black one I would like to hear about it. I'm watching Craigslist, Ebay and Cycle Trader but wanted to post here as well... Thanks! Britt
