  1. All the Corbins have now been sold, so the bike comes with the stock seat and is also priced lower.
  2. SOLD Selling my 2002 Redbird (Candy Blazing Red). The bike is clean and ready to go. Runs great, has always been garaged, and has never been down. 31K miles on it. $3600, located in Canton, MI It was purchased by me one year ago from another board member that had it imported from Canada. The speedometer is in both MPH and Km/h, and everything else is identical to the US model. Bike comes with a clean Michigan title. I put about 1500 miles on it, but with my toy ADD I picked up a Aprilia Tuono at the same time and ended up riding it more. I now bought a 2nd car, so time to thin out the stable... The bike comes with the following extras: - Yoshimura RS3 carbon fiber slip-on exhaust - Zero Gravitiy Double Bubble screen, 3 other screens included as well (Givi Touring, 2 OEM ) - Throttlemeister throttle lock bar ends in black - Frame sliders - Pyramid tire hugger/chain guard combo - Fender Extender - Auto chain oiler - Hookup and controller for heated gear - Foam grips - Stoplight Magnet brake light modulator - Headlight modulator - Pre-wired for battery tender - Mag-Knight magnetic Tank Bra - 2 service manuals The Gunfighter seat pictured has already been sold and does not come with the bike The following maintenance has been performed on it in the last year (within the last 2000 miles), in addition to oil changes: - New chain and sprockets - New spark plugs - New brake pads all around - New air filter Condition items of note: - Tires have plenty of tread left but the rear is starting to square off. - The exhaust on one side was improperly installed by the previous owner and one of the rivets had rubbed a vertical mark into the swing arm. The exhaust covers it up. - There are also a couple of small dings (< 1/2 inch) on the rear cowling that have been touched up as well as a small thin scratch (about 1 inch long) on the front wheel fender. - Tire hugger has a broken tab. I put a couple of washers in so it stays in place.
  3. - Givis are sold - Helis are sold - Corbin Gunfighter is sold - Smuggler is still available and now with a lower price
  4. Pictures uploaded, PM's replied. I would really like for somebody local to get buy the Givi setup as it will be a complete PITA to ship. PM for a picked up price.
  5. All items here are in very good or better condition and prices include shipping to the lower 48 states. Items will be discounted accordingly for local pickup. I am located in Canton, MI, which is about 1/2 hour from the Detroit Canadian border for those those of us that live in Canada. - Givi E41 bags and cargo liners, E52 top case with cargo liners and lighting kit, Five Stars side/top rack. The lids have are painted candy red to match the 2002/2003 redbirds (Candy Blazing Red R-195 C). Very good condition other than a few small marks from normal use. $SOLD - Corbin Smuggler - Standard leather, like new, shows no signs of wear. Smuggler part painted the same color as above. The paint match on this turned out a little darker than the Blazing Red on my 2002 bird (I think the paint shop might have put an extra coat on), almost looks closer to the 2001 red. Still a good match. $SOLD - Corbin Gunfighter - Smooth leather on top, CF look leather on rider's seating surface. Very good condition save for a 1/2 inch wear mark on the leather finish in the front part of the seat. $SOLD - Helibars - Very good condition. They have wear marks where the controls were mounted which should not show once controls are mounted once again. $SOLD
  6. Thanks guys. I guess I will check with the stealers then Rosenau, Nicholsons, and Motor City are closest to me.
  7. Did you like them, and how were their rates? I was thinking of using a dealer, but don't want to get ripped off.
  8. Ok now, I know ya'll don't dow *all* of your own work, where to then, the stealers?
  9. Need to get a couple of things checked out on my XX including a valve check that I do not really have the skills or the time to do myself. Does anyone know a reliable independent mechanic in SE Michigan that can work on XXs?

    Wiring help

Ah, that makes sense. I guess I have to take something off to replace the low-beam bulb anyway so might as well do this. Might be a royal pain in the arse since I'm slow on repair stuff. Spicholy, if I happen to be in your neck of the woods, do you mind showing me where exactly it goes if I can't figure it out myself? Sorry for the delay in response. I forgot about this thread. Sure, no problem. Let me know when. Sorry, stopped looking at this thread after I fixed it. I just ended up taking the whole front apart as I needed to change a headlight bulb as well. If your hands aren't too huge, you can do the light bulb without removing any body work. Access it through the square hole in the bottom of the nose cowl. So, did the wiring harness run where I thought it did? My harness was the same as Silverbird2's and it ran through the wrong side of the air duct (on the inside). After I took it apart I did what you said and ran it through the channel on the outside of the air duct. Fit just fine. Thank you for the advice. In regards to the light bulb, I don't remember seeing any square hole on the bottom of the nose cowl, but even if it does exist I'm sure my hand would be too fat to fit through there I was a good experience to figure out how things fit together anyway.

  12. I would like to pick up a SW-Motech quick release side-case rack for Givi cases. Let me know if you have one that you don't mind parting with.
