  1. I had a friend make me a set of passenger highway pegs. The pic is not the greatest but you get the idea. They bolt on to the bottom of a set of remade front pegs. That way when you get to your destination you can remove them if you want.
  2. GO for the spools, Much safer. The ones with the tabs can slide. You should be fine to just drill and tap.
  3. Mine has been working fine for a few years now. It's been in heavy rain too
  4. I have the pilot power 2ct 's (dual compound). I was able to give them a good tryout at wvexxt. They are sweet, handle awesome. I'll try to report back on how long they last.
  5. I put an 01 oem rectifier on my 00. It works great. It comes with a longer harness to locate it on the other side.
  6. I love it. I noticed quite a difference when you roll-on the throttle. I remember the numbers on the midrange values being alot higher. Let me know what you think
  7. Here is my map. It's for a 2000 with micron slip-ons BigJeff.zip
  8. I did the same thing. I call it "Frankenstand" It's been fine for over a year.
  9. Get the vacuum off the base of the carbs. there should be 1/4 black hose coming off each one. find a spot where they come together for the most vacuum possible. sounds like you figured out the coils
  10. I don't have any pictures, sorry. Mine is a 2000 it's fuel injected.
  11. I installed one on my bike. I put the motor in the tail, and the vacuum canister along the side where the handle for the rear stand is.
  12. I've been running a 01 r/r on my 00 since last year. Works just fine.
  13. What year was that VFR front sprocket that had the right offset ? I searched but couldn't find it. Thanks
