Need a salvage bike part

I need the big 3 prong plug that goes to the rectifier, voltage regulator, or whatever you call it. With as long a pig tail as you are willing to give me. Will pay handsomely.

That'll work. They're pretty goddam proud of those things, but it was easier than running all over trying to find a substitute. I hope I do not have to add any length to the wires. As I said in my original post about this problem, it looks as though the wires have been degraded over time about a centimeter back. As you know, wiring harnesses are cut pretty tight.

Thanks!

The contacts pop right out of those plugs. Pop out the old contacts. Cut them off and discard. Extend the wires. Solder on new contacts. Click back into the old connector.

I have done this many times. Of course you do not even need a connector if you can secure it properly without. I would just find a contact that is close, solder it on and heat shrink over the entire contact.

The original connector is a blob of burnt plastic. The stuff from Rick's has separate plastic connectors, mbutnit looks like it will work just fine. Thanks for the advice!
