  1. Opening that cycle term website was like opening a good porn site. It kept getting better as I scrolled down the page. A big thanks for posting that one!
  2. Krylon will make it whatever color you need Phillip.

    Chain Time

I replace the chains when they get noisy. I've found that to be roughly 20k miles - whether I maintain them well or not.
  4. The phone arrived safe and sound. ) Thank you, Dave!
  5. Wow...thanks! $200 headed your way. I really appreciate it. (I wish I had a use for the triumph...but don't.) Walt
  6. Hey Dave, I had no idea but they're ranging $250 to $350 down here. I didn't check ebay because I want to see the person before I buy it. This $250 CL ad looks legit and is nearby. The ad has some age but $280 and it's nice. I'd go $300 to know from whom it came. If you need more I understand. Markets are different. Thanks! Walt
  7. Dave, I'd like to have the 4S. Just let me know what you want for it. Thanks! Walt

    Walt!

I use a 3m 36 grit 7 inch fibre disc on an angle grinder. 3M rocks! These remove metal fast and last longer than the others. They don't generate the heat that a grinding wheel does. Plus, it puts a beautiful edge on the blade. Customers love it. I've had guys look at blades ready for others to pick up and exclaim "you did this?" as if they were running home to bring theirs back. Makes me feel good. Oh yes...they make short order of a bush hog blade, too. They have some new discs out that are suppose to remove metal even faster and last longer. I'm going to try them Nexxt. My nexxt purchase Philip...let me know if you have a 7" angle grinder. I can send you one.

Was it running up to the point where you turned it on its side? Does your mower have a primer bulb or is it an "auto-choke" model? Did you replace that soft head gasket or try to make do? Does the pull rope snap out of your hand while attempting to start it? Did the ether trick work?
  10. Hmm...A timer seems like a great idea. I don't see where reliability becomes an issue. I bet Pat has some at the office... edit: son of a....this thread is almost a year old?
  11. It looks like you only have a quarter inch of additional metal before you've drilled through to the other side. I like the hose clamp idea. Clamp the broken piece back onto the post, then put a threaded rod in, cement it in place and pray it holds as you gingerly thread the nut from the top. Let me know what model engine it is and I'll see if I have a good block for you.
  12. It shouldn't be too far. But...I just noticed the right side of the tank is caved in. Look closely at the HONDA emblem. That's a bummer.
  13. Cincinnati CL Let me know if you need any help with the parts.
  14. Teaser!!! Same bike a few years ago...Josh and I were returning from Johnson City...
