A Plethora of CBR1100XX Windscreens Offered For Sale

Recommended Posts

I have enough screens to build a raft, so I'm clearing house.

#2 - Stock single bubble screen painted black inside with skull etched on outside. Poor condition. Great to experiment with, or scare away sales if SWMBO says the bike has to go. $5....I have to charge something.

#3 - Stock carbie screen with the top sawed off. Street fighter ready. With this and a set of beetle bags you've got your very F6B for 1/10 the cost. Unfortunately, one numbering cartridge is not available in the photo, so you can only see two. But you can figure out a cut in half screen. This one is free. Fah-ree. You'll need the money to score the beetle bags.

#4 - Stock single bubble screen with red tinted base. Light scratching in good condition. $50

#5 - Givi screen with a damaged tab. Fair condition. Some light scratches and instant street cred via NeXXT 2, 3, 4, 8, and the rare AXXT '04 stickers. These rank among the best of the aftermarket screens. $40

#6 - Givi screen with light scratches outside. Instant street cred via Dragon/TVK stickers. Good condition. $60

#7 - PMMA branding? Clear single bubble screen. That's mud. It washes off, and I'm lazy. One tab broken off. Good news is that there's 2 well nuts and 2 inset washers included so I can put a $5 price tag on it.

#9 - Powerbronze dark tint double bubble screen. 4 holes near the top for some sort of accessory. Very nice shape. $60

#16 - Givi medium tint screen in excellent condition. $75

Cost of both packaging and shipping NOT included. I've researched markets including ebay, craigslist, and online forums to arrive at my pricings. If you feel I've made an error in pricing, feel free to tell me why. Shipping is from northeast Pennsylvania and I do ship internationally. PM or post in the thread with questions/comments.

Cost of both packaging and shipping are NOT included. This is in case you didn't read it the first time. If you're in a hurry, you should order from your favorite retailer. It may take a couple days for me to ship as i have a lot of irons in the fire right now, and only one arm to work on them.

Reply via pm or in the thread. Timestamps indicate who gets the item. An offer is not a commitment to purchase, and doesn't hold a place in a queue.

Thanks for any interest you may have!

Hi,

That's a lot of shields.

I've considered switching from stock for the sake of improved visibility of the gages. I don't reall care about or notice the wind flow too much.

An optometrist once had me in the chair and was adjusting it to look at my peepers and she told me I had a long upper torso and a stubby/stocky lower body. I took it that she was calling me a knuckle dragger in optometrist speak. Oh well.

I find when riding the xx to clearly see the gages I have to squat my head down from my normal riding position. Or arch my back weirdly like a dog taking a shit.

Are there any shields that negate the need for a knuckle dragger to do yoga moves to see all of the gages clearly? If so, which of these would best do that?

The GIVI shields will do what you want.

Mike, I took a close look at these and the Givi or the double bubble Powerbronze #9 seem to be the two best for your application.

I know this post is old but I was wondering if any of the screens are still available? I am interested in #8, the Powerbronze light tint touring screen.

If it's still around let me know, I think I'd like it.

Thanks.
