I can’t say I love it, but clearly a work by someone who loves their XX. 😍

There have been many here that were not to my liking, but seemingly well done.

Busabird?  Hayabird?  Something about a feather.

It appears that only the brake calipers (and rotors) are non-stock, but certainly look like Gen 1 Busa.

Well, the paint is very Hayabusa looking to me.

Unpopular opinion:  The original copper/silver is fucking HOT and made me really want one.

I agree.  An acquaintance of mine bought the first 2000 model in Wichita, in copper.  He had a black pin stripe applied between the two colors, that made it extra hot.  IMHO.

Imagine how different life would be if I'd gone with the impulse buy of the busa right then, instead of carefully considering it and deciding on the XX.  It could have come down to just the lack of electronic payments to do it while I was standing there.

On the topic of Beetle bags...

"And what made you first notice the defendant?"

"Well it's the first time I've seen a touring motorcycle doing a wheelie all the way through an intersection."

Huh.  If you handed me a solid metallic fuchsia motorcycle, I'd ride it for sure.  Not sure about the silver graphics, maybe busy.  Also my brain immediately processed it as a busy.

I have seen two other birds in Montana, this one makes three. And the only one with beetles other than mine.

Bought in Washington, bags from Cali, and here from BC.

I have one on the KTM and it's a life-changer.  $25.

I don't know about your KTM but on the Bird, it looks like it might be right in the line of sight which would seem to be bothersome to me.  But I have never tried one.
