NoOne65
I just put a dual fan setup on my radiator with the main fan connected to the bird original fan source. now I am putting an adjustable fan relay on the second fan. I am searching for mounting advice. Due to the adjustability and the limited length of the temp probe it has to be somewhere under the front of the bike. I am thinking some sort of plate mounted on top of the horn but cant think of any other ways...looking for some input. I've attached some pics for reference
fizzy
If I was still in your neck of the woods I would be happy to help in person. Maybe I can still help from afar. If you are asking if the relay shown can be mounted under the bike or by the horn.....NO. Mount all electrical devices such as relays/fuses/etc inside the bodywork and accessible. Can you show pic of temp probe and how it connects to the relay, maybe it can be extended? Also, how is it adjustable?
superhawk996
It appears to have a potentiometer on it, I assume to adjust it, so you'll want access to that at least long enough to figure out where to set it. After that you can tuck it away. Guessing it's not waterproof so somewhere it won't get wet, or cover it up.
