Nice addition to chop saws

OMG

I use these on a 12" SCMS with high end, high tooth count blades.  It's nice to have, and has made some difference in tear-out on some woods.  Easy stuff like maple isn't improved because the better blades and larger diameter already prevent any issues.  But on Wenge and other splintery things, these definitely do help.  I often forget to change them, and should just set a permanent reminder.

Never thought about it, so not sure.  I tend to bring a piece in from the front, and when doing multiple cuts, the piece is still on the saw.

Well fuck, waiting for something to copy, let's go check.  No but the center plate on my saw is lower than the table by a tiny bit.  If yours is perfectly flat, dunno.
