Red Gambino
I don't know much but I know that the bike on the highway started to smoke a little then died. I get home with a few of my friends help and I discover oil leaking so I look to see and it's not good
SwampNut
You're going to have to supply a lot more details. We have no idea if it's something like just a loose drain plug, or a gasket leak, or what. Where is the smoke coming from--exhaust exit or bottom of engine? Where do you see oil exactly? superhawk996
It threw a rod through the block. Figured I'd be the first to take a stab in the dark.
blackhawkxx
A photo of where the oil leak is coming from?
The Krypt Keeper
Is this a harley? Perfectly normal and keep riding or pushing.. If a blackbird, not normal. Remember reading about the oil line in the front of the bike chrome 1/4" tube getting a pin hole in it and spraying on exhaust.

SwampNut
He registered yesterday and then immediately posted that. Which is cool, we're a resource and that's normal. But no replies is odd.

FiXXation
Two gaskets on the oil filter?
superhawk996
Lots of minor/easy fix possibilities for the leak, but since they don't have a low oil shutdown the engine is likely fucked.

97bbxx
Since he don't want help and I'm sitting here ready to cry over my carbs. Have any of you ever had an issue not being able to get the carb off. I ve been trying for forever now. I lossened both the carb side and head side clamps with no luck I've damn near lifted the bike off the ground and shit my brains out at the same time. I've tried beating my head against for shits and giggles and I've even prayed for the bike and bowed down to see if it would let me worthy. My next option is going to be strapping c4 to it. But I'm pretty sure once the smoke clears everything will be fucked but the carb will still sitting there attached to the head please help this is kicking my ass and I had it off 6 months ago

XXitanium
Gently use a heat gun? Look up soaking the (rubber?) in wintergreen oil to make them plyable again for reinstalling. Geriatric pieces of sportbike history. ❤️
