Want to Buy - Beat to Shit Leather Motorcycle Jackets

Recommended Posts

I'm decorating my new home and need several beat-to-shit leather motorcycle jackets to hang on the walls (yes, I'm single). The ideal jacket will have extreme road rash, parts forcibly removed, blood stains, and smell like gas, oil and/or burnt rubber. I'll pay extra for Bates or Vanson jackets. Jacked up leather pants, mangled helmets, fucked up gloves, useless boots and rashed-up plastics also considered.

Thank You, Matt

P.S. Yes, It's been awhile. I missed you too.

I have a minty 2000 Ti you could put up on your back-bar.

I have a set of WWII shearling lined bomber pants I used to wear while riding in the winter. Think post-war biker gang chic. They are kind of "melted", like when leather gets too hot, from my knees being to close to the heads on my CB650C. I wouldn't know how to price them. ...probably not what you're looking for anyway.

Sort of like this...

Thanks for the offer, but, yes, the pants are different than what I'm looking for. They are cool though, well figuratively.

Agreed that a 2000 XX would be great bar-back, but I've already picked out a '71 Honda CL350 for a house bike.

Holy fuck. I was thinking about you 2 days ago. Man, I miss you.

Thanks Philip (I hope I remembered your name correctly). I miss y'all too (mostly). After a few years off, I'm back - FJR1300. Hope to see some of y'all soon.

Best

What year?

2005, so first generation, with ABS.

Loving it, not quite blackbird power, but close. More comfy though.

You got one, no?

I bought a 2016 FJR1300ES from Scott in Colorado in 2017.
Eats up miles in far more comfort than my 2001 Bird. They complement each other nicely in the garage.
Ride the Bird for local runs up to an hour away but take the FJR when covering any mileage.

I am fifth owner on a 2000 Ti. I am very happy with it. I bought it from Pat in Cinci.
