NapoliBlackbird
Looking for a good cell phone mount/case for an iphone 5s. Most of the cases on Amazon are for standard motorcycle/bicycle handlebars that won't mount on a Blackbird. Anybody got a recommendation? NapoliBlackbird
Thanks. That's what I was leaning towards based upon what I've read, using their fork stem base mount.
DBLXX
For stem, clutch bolts, wide U-bolt....they all work. I always used the clutch bolts. Just nice and clean. I probably have a million dollars in RAM pieces in my tool boxes just rotting away.
JoWhee
The ram mount on a 12 or 13 mm Allen key. Drop.the long end into.your yolk, the only way it's.coming out is if you flip the bike. Here's an old picture when I had the long clamp on it. It never came off, even when I took it off the bike and shook it vigorously.

JoWhee
The Allen key won't rotate in the steering hub nut. One end of the ram bracket is clamped into the short end of the Allen key tightly and doesn't move. The other end is into the x-grip ball and it doesn't move either. The ram mount itself will rotate about 20 degrees, it's the nature of the mount, but it tends to want to stay vertical. TL;DR Friction
