If I can save him a few bucks and get one at Oreilly or amazon instead of Honda that would be great. The one that comes up for me on amazon doesn't look right and has no temp statement so I'm leery. superhawk996 Posted March 8, 2017 Author Share Posted March 8, 2017 (edited) From pictures the Civic one looks about the same for '98-up bikes, the '97 doesn't have that extra disc on the bottom and the opening is off-centered. I was shocked that the Civic therm is a 170 degree, woulda figured 195. Stock XX is 82C (179.6F) for either type.
