I've been using the HH sintered, and noticed these have the perforated metal on the back of the pad, where the other two don't. The soft metal and the coating on it soaks up the vibrations that create squeal. My also insulate some heat away from the pistons, but I'm pretty sure noise reduction is the primary reason for it.
