rockmeupto125
I'm mentally working on a project. Has anyone here used an aftermarket gauge set for a custom application? I was thinking about trying to jimmy up a set of XX gauges, then recalled that I thought I had seen aftermarket digital gauges. Or perhaps a lighter unit from a later model CBR or such. Thoughts/experiences?
eliXXir
Compatibility with most gauges isn't hard if you swap the sensor(s) to ensure they are the same readings -- with the exception of the speedo. So many different implementations of speedos. There are lots of AutoMeter options to be looked at. I could get pricey fast though.
brianmacza
There are plenty of digital dashboards for the kit car market that cater for revs, speedo, water temp, oil pressure, shift lights, indicators etc...

rockmeupto125
There's lots of stuff out there, but there's really too much to sort out. Thanks for the specific link.
