John01XX
Since there is no riding going on in Canada this time of year, Warren has decided to lower his Bird in preparation for the Spring drag strip. Course the Veloscity Turbo has to go on yet. Watch for the Napa/Dupont sponsored Bird this coming year at a drag strip near you
John01XX
Have to ask Warren all the questions. I think he is going with the full race double ball bearing turbo. Not sure as to what size swing arm but yes a longer one than stock. All I really know is it is a sweet prject and he has some good support from the company he works for as far as sponsorship goes. I wish him the best of luck.
WARREN
quick update. the bike has been lowered as you can see from the pictures, I have had the stock seat cut down about 2 inches in the front half to get me lower in the saddle. I just ordered an MRE multistage lock-up clutch today and should prove interesting when it comes in. My grandpa and father in law are starting to get involved in the project as one is an amazing machinist and the other can TIG weld aluminum.....I guess I will find out if he enjoys me being part of the family.....as far as a cutdown oil pan....I like oil....alot.... so I will hold off for now. Every Funny-car i have ever worked on had a 14-17 litre pan.
