CBR929 shock for 'Bird

The RR has adjustable compression & rebound clickers plus a remote oil resevoir. You have to machine a spacer (basically just a 1" thick washer) for the spring to work, but other than that it's a drop in fit. I can't afford an Ohlins & this is a great mod for the budget minded.

Waysherr is trying to sell is Bird. In the description of farkles he mentioned that he had a 929RR shock. Being cheap as hell, this would be something I'm interested in as a quick survey of 929 shocks ebay show a price range of $40-90.

I've asked for more info but am curious if anybody else has seen such a re-fit?

I sent an old XX stock rear shock to Traxxion Dymanics- They rebuilt it- new fluid, gas, spring, and revamped rebound control for around $200, IIRC. Next is drop in emulator cartridges with rebound/compression adjustments for the front.
